Plagiarism Policy
The Journal of Applied Manufacturing Technology (JAMT) is firmly committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and originality. All manuscripts submitted to the journal must represent original work and must not contain any form of plagiarism.
Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to, direct copying, self-plagiarism, improper paraphrasing, duplicate publication, and unattributed use of ideas, data, figures, or text from previously published sources.
Plagiarism Screening
All submitted manuscripts are screened using Turnitin plagiarism detection software prior to the peer-review process.

The acceptable similarity index is 30% or lower, excluding references, bibliography, and standard methodological descriptions.

Manuscripts exceeding this threshold will be carefully evaluated by the editorial team to assess the nature and extent of similarity.

Authors may be requested to revise the manuscript to address minor issues of similarity.
Manuscripts found to contain substantial or intentional plagiarism will be rejected without review.
Author Responsibility
Authors are fully responsible for ensuring that:

All sources are properly cited and referenced.

Quoted material is clearly identified.

Manuscripts comply with ethical writing and publication standards.
Failure to adhere to these principles may result in editorial actions at any stage of the publication process.
Ethical Handling of Plagiarism
All cases of suspected or confirmed plagiarism are handled in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Depending on the severity of the violation, actions may include:

Notification of authors’ affiliated institutions when necessary.
